Suzanne Macari, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist at the Yale Child Study Center. She earned her doctoral degree in Developmental Psychology from the University of Virginia and completed post-doctoral fellowships in autism research at the UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute and at the Yale Child Study Center Toddler Developmental Disabilities Clinic under the supervision of Dr. Kasia Chawarska. Currently, she is Associate Director of the Yale Early Social Cognition Lab. Her research focuses on developmental changes in the phenotypic expression of autism over the first three years of life, early screening and diagnosis, and emotional reactivity in very young children with ASD.
