The Yale Child Study Center's Developmental Disabilities Clinics offer multidisciplinary evaluations provided by a team of experts in assessment and diagnosis of complex developmental disorders from infancy into adulthood. Evaluations address cognitive or developmental functioning, speech, language, and communication, play, social and adaptive skills, as well as psychiatric assessment. Evaluations culminate in a discussion with parents regarding results of the assessment and recommendations for treatment and follow-up family support. Parents receive a comprehensive report regarding results of the evaluation and recommendations for educational planning and treatment.
